As regular attendance is an important element of education, not leave or absence will be granted except for serious reason.
The school is not permitted to grant long leaves for students to go abroad. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to sit for the term examinations as well as the final examinations.
Every pupil is required to put in attendance of not less than 90% of the total number of working days.
Parents and guardians must state clearly the reason for the absence such as religious celebrations, marriage etc. Failure to do so invalidates the application.
Appointments with doctors, dentists etc. must not be arranged during the school hours.
Once student come to school they have to attend the whole day. They are not allowed to go our of the school campus during school hours including recess time.
In case of serious illness the Principal must be informed within five days with a Doctor’s certificate accompanied by the leave application by the parent.
Those who return to school after absenting themselves without leave shall not enter the class without leave note countersigned by the Principal.
Every absence (sick leaves or otherwise) must be entered in the NON-ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE RECORD page toward the end of this diary and signed by the parent or guardian.
Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 10 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name stuck off the rolls. Re-admission, if granted will be done on payment of a fresh admission fee.
